Helen Liao
Helen is textile design student who from Winchester School of Arts, she created many artworks with different theme.
The first theme of her artwork which was Helen combined two elements together to made her project, one was architecture and the other was flower.
For another artwork, she designed it inspired by the rainy season from her hometown, China.
Helen created her designs with sustainability, so she collected the material from all clothes and old fabric. She said it was quite difficult to collect the right colour to utilize at her atwork.
Helen is looking forward the pop-up store which during Winchester Fashion Week, she is excited to see many different kinds of amazing artworks there.
Nicholas Ozanne
Nicholas is also a textile design student from Winchester School of Arts.
Nicholas created his collection with many contemporary characters from his researches.
The behind inspiration was especially looking at museums and some personal collections from history, and celebrities who he admiring.
The difficult part for Nicholas was not designing process, was researching process, but he said he enjoy the process. Moreover, Nicholas utilize his background and print which was focused on master degree to combined together.
Nicholas has exhibited his artworks many times at the art gallery, but it is the first time to exhibit the artworks with print and textile design to public and it will be a good opportunity for everyone.
Ceuta
Ceuta is studying textile design master degree in Wincheste School of Arts too.
Ceuta said the pop-up store will be a great palace to show public what textile design what actually is, because many people don’t really realize what is textile design.
Ceuta’s background is contemporary art, she has done many exhibitions, but she also very excited to show public with textile design in Winchester. She said this is good chance to show Winchester.
